Sunshine British people and Moving "joys"

It is 12:59 am and I am on the internet yayyyyyy!!!! It has been nearly two weeks without connection for me. I think i would rather live without a refrigerator. Ok. Not really. I like my cold milk.

I have been so internet deprived however that although I should be sleeping now, I am checking email, checking facebook, blogging, reading two documents that were emailed to me recently and listening to a youtube debate dubbed over in English on the Iranian Presidential election. Information! Galore! I am back and connected to the outside world! Yahoo! I don't think I am taking in any of it very well but just to feel connected is great! And even better is the thought that this time tomorrow I can call my family again because internet means my vonage phone will soon work once more! Yahoo! :)

I had to move two weeks ago which has been pretty annoying as I only moved into that house 10 months ago and I found out the need to move out was done very corruptly and illegally on the part of our landlord. I was not a happy ducky to have to repack up all my stuff again and find somewhere else to try and make home. Nothing makes me grumpier than having to move. It also might be one of those things the Lord is using in my life to refine me and to remind me that this earth is not my home, heaven with Him is. Nevertheless, my learning is slow and I am praying I can stay here a few more years. If I get married in that time, I am hoping my husband wouldn't mind moving into this house with me and all my housemates just so I don't have to move again. Just kidding. I would happily uproot for whoever that dude is. But that may be the only thing that could get me to move again anytime soon.

England has been beautiful lately. We have seen actual signs of summer, something that seems to completely have passed us by the last two years. This is my impression of British people in a real summer. A story for you:

"Henry was driving along a curving English road on his way home from work. He couldn't believe his eyes. He just kept starring out the window to his left. A glance. Then another, and then a full out stare. As his car continued to cruise down the road at 30 miles per hour headed north, he just could not concentrate to keep his eyes on the road. His head continued to be magnetically drawn toward the passenger window. Suddenly CRASH BANG! CRUNCH! Henry plowed into the car in front of him that had stopped at a traffic light. Never mind the crunch of metal.. the two dazed drivers got out of their vehicles as they starred off to the west of their now slightly banged up autos. "Could it be??" they wondered in awe. Not just Henry, but Henry and Lucy (his auto crunchy car's owner) were standing staring across the road over their cars' bonnets. Up and down the road from the scene of the accident you saw smiling people everywhere. Skin resined brilliantly about them icey pale white, olive, brown, dark dark brown...was everywhere as shorts and strappy tops and sandals and t-shirts had emerged from being packed deep inside wardrobes. The atmosphere around the car wreck, although it should have been gloomy and tense reflected the entire neighbourhood as happy people pulled towels onto any little patch of pavement or alleyway near their house and faces craned for windows. Henry and Lucy, still in joyfilled awe, ignoring their mangled cars, starred at the redish yellow ball in the sky as it was framed in baby blue. "Could it be?" They were still in awe and disbelief.. "Could it be that the sun decided to show it's face in England??!!!??"

    The end.
