  • If you are one of the lots of secret people that I know are RSSed to this blog. i think I may play some open mic sorta music with some friends this sunday night at North Terrace pub. You should com if you are in Newcastle. :)

My friend and I drove all the way to Durham tonight to go to a swing dance lesson. Only to arrive and find out it wasn't n the place we thought it was. Dang it. It was a nice lovely long drive and conversation. :)

Have you been following the election in Iran? Join with me and JPC in praying for that nation right now. It seems a country known for violating it's own citiizen's rights and humanity may be just getting worse with millions of peoples votes disregarded. Pray for justice to happen in this recent election and for the actual winner to be elected. Pray a new election would happen and justly. Pray for protection of people from violence. Pray that the church in Iran would shine with Jesus' love and truth through all the difficulties that are being faced. Pray many people would meet Jesus as their saviour and Lord personally in Iran, the one who justifies sinful people, the one who loves us, the one who died for the world, the Ruler of the world who will rule the world and not just a country under His goodness and justice someday. Pray that corrupt leaders would meet Jesus and be changed, humble, repentant leaders who would desire not power but to serve the Iranian people with love, servanthood and humility for the good of the people and for the glory of Christ.

Well I am sleepy. Time for bed. Listened to a challenging sermon on humility tonight over a glass of wine. The wine is putting me to sleep. But pray in my dreams the Lord keeps teaching me about my need for humility and teachability.
